Hard to Please Cynic

October 17, 2013 I fully and unabashedly admit I am a cynic and a salesman's nightmare. I question, and I question, and I will play hardball if needed...and win. The garage door to an old workshop needed repair. I hunted online, found no company I liked. I saw Aaron's Service and called one evening, after hours. Jesse called back immediately. We set an appointment time; he was there on time. He inspected my springs, detailed what type they were and their condition -- he knew his stuff. The door was rotting. Repair was going to be half the price of a new door and its installation. 30 year old door...I chose the new door but felt no pressure whatsoever. Jesse and his assistant had the new door to me that same day, installed it, tested it and tweaked it. That door is almost silent. It looks good, matches the dwelling, and cost me far less than I was expecting. No sales pitch, no shifty numbers, just an honest Christian businessman looking to provide service the old-fashioned way of providing what the customer needs and to garner respect by earning it. He earned it. Would I use him again for another door? In a heartbeat.
